BIGASS Fl meet....who'd be down?

I'm really interested in the possible interest of something like this happening. There's talks of it on FA and I'm really stoked to think we might be able to pull this together...

I'm talking a big 240sx meet held here in Florida sometime this winter. I'm thinking possibly a two day ordeal...kinda like the Supra guys do it. One day have a meet and greet w/ food, sponsors, prizes ect then that night go to a local track and battle it out....and the following day have a dyno day or something along those lines.

And if you think this is gonna be some regular 240sx meet...think again. Here's a short list of guys who are showing BIG interest in this possibly happening...

1. Ivan from AMS and his monster KA-T

2. Mark from Mazworks and his equally powerful Sr car

3. Jason from Hybrid Dynamics

4 And Duy.....this quoted from him...

"we should have 4 cars (S14) from the houston area that will try to make it..
1) 2jz (world's fastest and quickest S14, i think)...stroker motor and 1400hp coming soon
2) rb 26 fully built with powerglide
3) rb26 with powerglide and backhalved
4) 600+hp KA (either with z32 tranny or th350 depending on his mood)"

I know I can pull a ton of cars from here locally in Melbourne and the like up with me. As well as getting the Enjuku guys to come out as well.

Now I know you guys down there have sick meets....what are the odds of any of you attending something like this if it were to happen....

I would definately be down depending on what location this will be held at. I am located in the Panhandle of Florida so it might to far of a drive but I might get a wild hair. This is an awesome idea and it is about time the 240sx community teamed up and created a great event like this on the east coast. I hope everything pans out. Cameron

I will keep you guys posted. I'm well aware of the fact that it has been far too long since the S-Chassis guys had a big meet. I put on the first Orlando meet years ago.....as well as the Tampa meet in 2003 (over 300+ cars...not all 240's but a good majority was)....

This event is shaping up to be HUGE....no joke. I'm still in talks with alot of folks and when I have more concrete info, I'll be sure and post back..

Welp...just got word today that aparently NICO had thier meet planned for January. So NICO will not be participating in my meet apparently. I'm not sure how many folks they think they can gather for a meet in the coldest part of the year, but to each his own in the end.

I however am looking towards doing my venture I guess towards the end of March/Beginning of April...allowing the out of stater's to anjoy Floridas nicer weather!!!

So no worries....I'm not letting this fall to the wayside fellas....just gonna be pushed out a bid further, but it'll be well worth it in the end. That much more time to invest in assuring that this will be the biggest s-chassi meet EVAR.....in FL

Hey guys.....wanted to real quickly let everyone know that this thing is a FULL BLOWN GO!!! I don't have too much more info, but it's def gonna be held towards the end of March and it will be in Orlando. I will be calling OCCC (Orange County Convention Center)....which is HUGE...tomorrow to see what we're looking at to secure about 500 spaces in one of thier big parking lots.

I have also personally talked to all the big names mentioned on the phone and they are all down for coming as long as it doesn;t interfere with any of the races to be held (end of March is the start of the racing season...). Also....and as far as I know.....we have both NICO AND Freshalloy fully backing us up on this so I'm excited to see what each will be able to do for us.

All in all....lots of good news....now the real work begins!! I'll keep updates coming as I receive info. Oh....and if of you really are interested in aiding me and others in this effort (even if it's organizing your areas caravan up. PM me with your contact info (E-mail, cell number, ect). I'll need all the help I can get.
