16G on Skyline GTS-T

So i'm looking on getting a 16G due to the plentiful and inexpensive nature of them. Have a R32 Skyline w/RB20 so I need an exhaust housing since i'm keeping my exhaust and manifold, so my next cheapest option (that is of acceptable quality) for the size of turbo I want is actually quite expensive.

I'm thinking of getting this:

And a 16G from an early EVO.

I can get a 16G from DSM people I know for around $200.

Also how easy is it to swap a turbine housing?

Opinions on this route? Thanks for any replies.

There's so many different varients of turbine wheels, turbos, and flanges, just be sure to double check that you are ordering the correct housing for your application. Other than that it's usualy really easy to swap housings.

Other than that I would really recommend at least a td06-20g even for a stock rb20, 16-18g isn't going to get you very much more power and kind of peter out quickly. Look for a blown 20g on YAJ or something, the rebuild kits are only around $100.

I'll consider that 20G suggestion.

One thing is that i'm going to be using the car in autocross so response and mid/low end are more of a priority than maximizing top end for me. I've been told that a 20G you lose quite a bit of that on a RB20. Around 300whp would be fine for me and much better than the 240 i'm making now.

YAJ = Yahoo Japan?

Thanks for the help.
