I run 10/8 full stiff. Took about a week to get used to.

Well, I'm 6'-4" w. a sunroof sitting on 8kg/ 5kg S14, Im use to it, I suggest you do the same, oh did I mention, sitting on the HypermaX II system. I think the 18's help balance the body shock. .. . Blown ass Riverside streets.

Well, I will be the decenting voice. 8/6 is not that usable on the road IMHO. It's not horrible for comfort but I prefer lower rates. Biggest issue is that the car does not follow bumps while cornering that well. The small stuff is fine but anything beyond that will upset the car so much that the car is actually faster with the 6/5 setup or something similiar. I tried the 8/6 and switched to a 6/300lb setup. I may try the 8/6 again as I moved and the roads may be better and I did some other work to the car that made it follow irregularities better (grease fittings on the ES bushings+Camber/toe rods).

Definitely report on how the car reacts if you go with the 8/6 setup again. It's hard to find good coilovers that come w/ softer springs, and as seen with the KTS fiasco, it may not be best to put softer springs on many of the standard jdm 8/6 coilovers. As you said though, since most people do use their car on streets quite a bit, stiff springs can be too stiff and cause the car to be very unpredictable and nervous over rough terrain.

or just buy different tires during the next time u need tires. i see that lower profile are harsh. and too tall of a wall is very flexible/bouncy. find something in between and it will be nice. i had 12/10.. and i love it. great view of some bouncy twins. hahaa
