Oops..
If I took a picture of someone's car and either a) you don't want it on there b) you'd like me to remove the license plate (if visible) Just let me know and I'll take care of it.

WHAT???? _YOU_ were there???
Man..too bad we couldn't meet up. I'm sure I saw your car-I walked the entire lot twice over. Sorry about not having gotten back to you about your offer for the hood-the plywood actually adhered itself to my engine bay pretty well after a while so I didn't want to bother you. I picked up an OEM S15 hood today there. I'm not sure if I updated you on my car but I'm rebuilding the engine now with forged pistons and rods-it turns out the shop I got to do all the work messed up by one timing chain link, and the exhaust valve was propped open by the piston. The whole time we thought the rings didn't seal. It's being bored and honed, and Monday I'll go about putting it together. So yeah, that's the situation in a nutshell. Did you actually participate at the event?

only took 9 other pictures. I didn't like having my lunch money go towards a parking space I'm so used to being free.. that'll be enough to keep me from spectating any other drift day events, unless there is some other reason to go Last edited by Halz; 07-06-2003 at 06:30 PM.. |

DD6 was loads of fun. After a little helpful advice from driftheaven on the main course I discovered clutch-kicking on the J-turns and really enjoyed the rest of the day even if my tires and drivetrain didnt.
The day was pretty hectic for me since it was the first event I've ever been to so unfortunately I wasnt able to really say hi to everyone I wanted to but I was able to meet some cool people like Aaron and Calvin and saw some recent friends, even if I could only wave to them (ootranceformeroo, rbs14, etc). BTW nice pics Daniel, what camera are you using? And did you say you had some video? Other random thoughts: Whos the guy who owns the silver kouki s14 with the bronze volks? I LOVE that car, looked awesome! LOTS of s14s, and lots of kouki s14s, way more than I would have expected. Last edited by NZO; 07-06-2003 at 08:04 PM.. |

no problem Dousan and Christian. I used the Olympus D-490 Digital Camera. Almost the same one as my cussin (Black180sx) used. I cannot post the video because its on my video camera and I dont have a usb cable that works for that camera. Next meet/event let me know and Ill bring the tape for you to watch. Kimotsu(signals driver) came pretty close to us spectators(about 10ft away?) Haha Im not sure because I was taping the whole time. so if it got too close I wouldnt even know it because I was looking at the screen the whole time. ahahah.
Hey Christian I thought you got a lot better from when you started in the beginning of the event. Thats what a bunch of the 240 guys I was with said. Last edited by ootranceformeroo; 07-06-2003 at 09:26 PM.. |
