S15 oem hid bulb size...
Well I recently went s15 front on my hatch. I ended up with 1 oem hid headlight, and one halogen headlight. We had some h1 bulbs laying around in the shop (as neither light had a bulb) the h1 fit fine in the halogen housing but when I opened the oem hid the hole where the bulb goes through is larger than the base of the hid bulb. I was wondering if this is a bulb type issue or simply I am missing an adapter piece.
Any info or suggestions would be great! |

how about looking at your headlight assembly. all automotive lights are clearly marked as to what specification bulb (and wattage) are supposed to be installed.
a 35w d2s is whats supposed to be installed in the oem xenon headlight, like 99% of most xenon headlights. so dont install some piece of shit rebased h1 bulb. in fact, you shouldnt be running two different style headlights... but this forum is filled with idiots who dont seem to understand how things work, so do as you see fit. |
