Those who have working S13 DCC please help me!!

Alright guys so I had a day off today I finally got around to installing my DCC. I bought everything together with uncut harness with all the sensors from the JDM S13. My problem is when I flip the keys for ignition on, the DCC unit wont light up/turn on.

I followed driftenthusiast's write up ( http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/154426...e-control.html ) but it just wont start. I referenced some other write ups as well, such as:
S13 Digital Climate Control Step By Step - 240sxONE Forums
S13 JDM Digital Climate Control Swap (It's easier than you think!) : 240sx General Discussion
JDM S13 digital climate control write-up thread

and all of them basically say the same thing. I thought well easy enough so i'd go ahead and do it.

I used a test light and I am getting voltage at the red and the blue connections. I think the problem might be my ground? I did not get a reading for ground from my test light.

I have attached pictures of what I did.....someone pls help!! This is my daily driver and I don't want to leave things as is. I read the write ups multiple times since last sunday and in all the write ups it said this was an easy install.

Just find some metal bolts that are bolted to the chassis and use those for ground. You can use the bolts that bolt the shifter boot to the chassis.

^ Use one of the four bolts shown above.

But it doesn't reach. Should I get another piece of wire to extend it? Did I do everything else right?

Yes, extend the ground to reach.

Does the red w/blue wire receive 12V with key turned IGN. ON? Make sure it doesn't activate with key to ACC ON.

Also, you are forgetting to wire up the green w/ white stripe wire (JDM side of white 6pin harness). This also must be hooked up to IGN ON.

Where do you suggest I connect the red/blue wire? I'm having trouble with this one. I already swapped the green w/ white stripe to the other plug so that one should be good.

Just find a wire in the radio harness that shows 12V when you have the key to IGN ON. only. I'm not sure exactly which one, but if you have a test light you can narrow it down quickly.

So find a wire that has 12v when it is IGN on and 0v when key is out?

And the wire to ground is the red/orange stripe one am I correct? This install is giving me a massive headache. All the write ups have broken links for picture and the explanation is at many times very vague.

Can someone help me identify a wire that is IGN ON? I've grounded the red/orange stripe wire but the damn thing still isn't working.
