Brake caliper color. I'm indecisive, OCD or something....
This is totally stupid, but yeah, i'm doing a front and rear big brake upgrade, but i can't decide on a color to powder coat them before they go on. I'm leaning towards black with white letters, but that could change in an hour.
Here's a pic of the car and FYI, red calipers are completely out of the question. Red calipers on a red car is perverse and asinine. Pick a color combo or suggest something cool and maybe i'll go with that. |

As you can clearly see in how my car is already built, i do just that. This is just a thread to toss around ideas.
And FYI, this isn't the first time i've built one of these cars. Now run along. |

project mu teal color! it's the polar opposite of red so it will give u a nice contrast (same way blue and yellow contrast eachother)
or you could do yellow. that's a nice color too. behold!

Highlighter/neon yellow or an electric blue might look pretty sick, because it would give really good contrast against the red exterior, plus it would differ from the oh so common red caliper color.

True, but i like Brembo.
I'm pretty much stuck between the gold with red letters and the black with white letters. |

the white looks nice but you're gonna have to constantly clean it. i suggested this site on a similar thread:

yeah, white looks cool sitting there, but i know it'd be a bitch to keep clean. I'm not into all that. haha
Those links are cool, but i don't have the patience to do this myself. Honestly, i have very little patience to do any real work on these cars anymore since my last one was wrecked by a fucktard in a suburban. Thanks though. Its really between black or brembo gold. And these are brembos by the way so its not like i''ll be faking the funk if i do decide to go with gold. I did that on my last car with the Z brakes. haha i wanted the real thing on this one. |
