I dont know how the showing is going to be next week - Drift Camp in Reading and the green S14 and black S14/R33 are going which essentially head up these meets. If you are going to make a date to go, make it in 2 weeks. The only reason things are kind of falling off right now are because we drifted our faces off for 3 weeks straight and now I dont have any more money for tires...
The RX7 has an engine fire every week, the R33 spun a rod bearing, the mustang which drifts with us spun a bearing, the green S14 is getting tuned this weekend for drift camp, and I won't be there either. So in short when the people go at it, they go at it pretty hard. Sign up on driftpa.com and gauge some interest - that is the forum where ALL the updates are going to be put up. Its kind of hard for me to relay this back and forth.. For the person who asked about the track setup.... |

GUYS, REMEMBER THIS IS A PRIVATE TRACK, NEVER SHOW UP UNLESS THERE IS A SANCTIONED EVENT, or you get ahold of me first to set something private up! its 100% private property, not open to the public. We know the owner and get special permission to go out and slide whenever we want. Its literally in his back yard and could easily call the police, no different then sliding a parking lot. Full details on this track are at driftPA.com and we dont want to lose this special privilege we have. One person can ruin it for everyone.

DO NOT go to the track if you know where it is when there is not an event scheduled. What I quoted from Steve's post is 100% true. Out of the owners kindness he lets us use this track, he doesn't have to. One person can ruin it for everyone.

Yeah, we were just making sure it was understood by all. Better to be safe then sorry. In the past something like this happened, just a group of random people no one knew went out and just messed around. Not a good thing.

Yeah, that's fine. I would go on your forum and get rid of the address. It's posted up there for all to see on one of the threads. Just a heads up for some extra insurance.

Find some rich dude who likes cars and bikes and is fine with letting a bunch of kids who like cars too slide around the track he built literally in his front yard.

you guys are really nice to be sharing this like a secret surf spot on an internet forum! it looks like a lot of fun. i hope you're able to keep it organized. do any of you guys go to englishtown, nj events? i'm just curious. also, which one of you is truly in charge? maybe we're all related somehow.
so could i just attend a regularly scheduled event just like that? i'm just a beginner. what i would be afraid of is mechanical breakdown at a track that far away...i'd need a transport vehicle. |
