S13 full conversion
Hey guys, this is my first post on this website and I wanted to start off by saying I've been actively checking the forums for close to a year now before deciding to create an account and have nothing but the utmost respect for a majority of the members on the forums.
To start, I've used the search functions several time before, just thought I'd clarify that in the start to avoid any flaming. but, I was wondering if there are any alternatives to the ultimate auto boutique complete S15 conversion someone posted on a while ago. I realize there is already a thread on this but I don't want to resurrect an old thread. Also, if there's a shop that can do it, preferably on the west coast that would be perfect. I was looking at converting my S13 to S15 and a Vertex edge body kit with a border hood. On a separate note, I was wondering what are the laws on importing a vehicle with no drive train for a "parts only" vehicle? I've talked with several registered importers and with customs and they told me a chassis can't be imported if it's right hand drive, even if its chopped. |

Well chap you obviously didn't search hard because this topic has been covered front to back countless times. You need conversion fenders, or both s15 and s13 metal fenders welded together (oddly enough there is a whole walk through doing it) hood hinges, hood, core support, headlights/brackets.
Based on what you're wanting I have you have several thousand dollars to throw at this. The info is out there S13.5 S13 strawberry face S13 s15 front end. Now that I've spoon fed you search for real |

I've contacted them and they said to send my car there, I was just trying to save some money on shipping, I know the above methods are correct but I was looking for a full S13>S15 exterior conversion. Roof line, quarter windows, b pillars, rear end, front end, doors, fenders, everything... I was asking if anybody knows ANY shop that does this other than their shop, they said they'd do it but only with their body kit... Which I'm not too big on, so I was trying to find an alternative so I also don't have to purchase a body kit I don't like.

first off, doing a full s15 conversion on a s13 is a massive insane waste of money.
to do it correctly and with quality work will cost far more than it would to just import an s15. second, now that you've dumped a small fortune into this project, what do you have? an s13. third, try contacting other fab/body shops instead of asking random people on the internet. |
