Haven't updated in a while, but I've been continuing work, mostly on the suspension. Planning on a VE head swap over the off season, so tuning got put off until spring.
Got a whole bunch of new GKTech parts, an OS Giken diff for a GTR and S14 subframe to put in soon. Need to get some 350z 31 spline diff stubs machined for the OSG and then I can put it all together. My old Nismo GT LSD is for sale btw, 6x1 Q45 30 spline stubs included... Also selling my old Driftworks Geomaster 2 knuckles, front and rear. Anyway, here's some pictures:

Well, I haven't updated in a while since apparently whoever I was using to host my pictures sucks and went down, so most of my pictures are gone and it's a bit frustrating...
Anyway, I've been working on doing a P12 VE headswap lately after I shattered two rocker arms in my DET head. The head was at a machine shop for two months to get an hour and a half valve job, so that put me behind quite a bit this season. Attached is a picture of the freshly cleaned up head/valves and two pictures comparing the old DET intake ports with the VE intake ports. Also, I ordered the GKTech Z33 trans parts to eventually do that conversion.

Head build is done. Running again in a week or two if there's no issues.

Well, my dyno was today. Went well, until I started getting what I think was spark blowout around 20psi.
Still, I managed to pull out 404whp and 338ftlbs at only 20psi and 6500rpm. I think that's a pretty good sign that 550-600whp is in there somewhere with 25-30psi and 9k rpm. Anyway, here's the printout I have that's closest to the 404whp run. I wound up not printing that one amongst scrambling to figure out why spark was cutting out. The fluctuation is the closed loop boost controller. Never got around to fixing that. Here's one of my earlier pulls where I was testing just the low lobe so I had the switch point set high at 5k. Look at that jump in torque when it switches. wow. Finally, here's a log of the backfires. You can see AFR is good (12.2) leading into the two lean spikes that were accompanied by backfires so I don't think it was fueling. My guess is spark blowout, I'm gonna check my plugs. Thoughts?
