how would you guys feel about a limited run on the Decisions shirt?
so im having a local shop burn some screens for me and they look like they do some pretty decent work. how would you guys feel about a limited production run on my DorkiDori "Decisions V2" shirt? you know, the one with all those bitchen wheels on it?
i may limit it to 25-30 shirts, and possibly do it in a metallic foil. not sure yet, i just want feedback. price per shirt will be around $20.00 shipped (i can no longer produce shirts as cheaply as i was before unless i buy in bulk). since some of you arent up to speed, heres the shirt i am talking about... |

V2 > V1 shirt
i made quite a few small changes in the version 2 shirt that i dont think many people picked up. i replaced 4 of the wheels that i really didnt like, fixed all the 5 lug patterns to look the same, fixed the 4 lug patterns as well, changed a good amount of the line work to make the edges more defined from a distance, got rid of the original slogan (which drifting.com accused me of ripping off from them. quite funny actually. i had never seen or even heard of their design before they accused me of stealing their idea). all in all, both shirts together took me about 36 hours to do |

i have to go by the shop tomorrow to drop off artwork. when im there i will check out some samples of their foiled stuff as well as their normally printed work to see if their print quality is where i am comfortable offering it to you guys. im really picky on the print quality of shirts i release thru outside printers. i want to make sure you guys get something that will last you quite a while

literally what it sounds like. its the print done with metallic foils.
if you see (and i dread using it as a reference) affliction shirts with that shiny metal stuff on it, thats metallic foil. i had always pictured doing the V2 shirt with a metallic foil at some point honestly. i thought it would be cool to have a black shirt with the option of pure gold or pure chrome metallic foil as the wheels. but alas, i never got around to doing it. IF i do offer the shirt in metallic foil, its more than likely going to be in the $25 range, its an expensive process to do and quite a bit more time consuming than a standard print. |
