Alright, I think I have this right but I'm not sure. I got this set of Tein HA s13 coils a year ago and took them apart right away to paint them, since then they have sat in a box in pieces but now I need to install them. The two circled seem to work but the heavy spring is on the back, and that doesn't make sense to me since the weight is mostly up front I would think. The reason they fit this way is because of the threaded collar fits to the spring, but I bought these used so who knows if they were right to begin with. I hope someone can help

looks like the threads are 2mm bigger up front, so I guess the collars can't be flipped.

larger springs in the front. Smaller springs in the rear with the helper springs.

I just checked to make sure, the rear collars won't fit up front. I can put the big springs up front but the small springs wont fit the collars in the back, they DO fit just fine up front though, like they are in the first pic.

Helper springs go on the bottom of the main spring.

My apologies, forget what I mentioned earlier. Not sure why I thought they were reversed.

the springs rub the threads, and the aluminum spacer won't go over the threads. I think tein stuff is just weird, also these coilovers are probably very old, I bought them used from japan on ebay.

thanks for the pic! I think my springs were missing the front helpers and the ones I have go on the back, thanks for the help.

well hold on, the aluminum spacer for between helper/main spring will not slide over the threads of either the front or rear strut, I can't put the helper on the bottom but it should work up top for either front or back, maybe an old design? Is there a problem with having helper on top?

then the helper spring wouldnt be doing its job, would it?

I thought the helper spring was there to take up the extra space when the suspension is extended, like when the car is jacked up. I don't see any difference, top or bottom. Right now I'm pretty sure I'll need all the helper springs, the rear will only go so low before falling out of the upper mount when its jacked up, anyone have an extra set laying around?
