I have a 1993 nissan 240sx with an sr20det swap. Since I have had the car my aftermarket JVC stereo, speedometer, and tachometer rarely work. My stereo will come on only when the key is turned on not when it is running. My car also wants to die every time I come to a stop light. I thought it was because my alternator went out but I replaced it last week and it still does it. I know my battery is fine because it is putting out 13.5v when the car is running. Anybody know what can cause my stereo, speedometer, and tach to not work?

seems like a dash plug wiring issue if ur speedo or tach won't work
