If I decide to keep my s14 it will directly be because this build inspired me.

A. What size and offset lmgt's are you running? Also what size tires.

B. I feel that the suspension sucks in a lowered s14, have you got to drive with the geomaster knuckles yet? I am curious to see if they bring the suspension back to life in the 240sx.

Thanks

The nismo's are front: 18x9,5 et 20
Rear: 18x10 et 20

Toyo r888. Front: 235-40-18
Rear: 265-35-18 (think i will swap for 275) in the future

Not drove with the geomasters myself.
My friends did and i did some passegerlaps and it feels realy good
Hope the suspention turn out the way i thought it would be
In the future the tein make place for custom intrax racing suspention probbebly the 1k2 set
We put this on the bmw e30 this year and did a btg 8:48 on thr nurburgring..
So there is hope to reach my goal to do a 7:59 in the nissan

Thanks for the reply!
Also are you going to be tuning the vq or run it oem configuration?

Also double on the can system question.

Wil use some signals from the can line and ad some extra lines for extra info like
Oil,gearbox,diff temp..

Also the laptime sensor!!

For speed i have to figure out how to do that
In a week or two i get a info night @ aim

Think the engine would be stock for a while..
On the nurburgring is suspention setup more important than big power
Maybe bolt on parts like cams, and a really good exhaust system like the s-g motorsport longtube headers

the S&G motorsports longtubes wont fit your car.

your speed can be done with a garmin GPS (what i'm doing) or buy using an ABS differential.

Got to be one of my favorite cars on Zilvia right now. Funny how my top picks have VQs in them...

But the electrical work on this car is on another level.

Update time!

I bought a second hand aim mxl dash
After all the issues i had to figure out that a yamaha r1/6 aim mxl isn't the same as a "normal" mxl dash
So to keep a very long story short! (The aim thinks my car is a yamaha r1/6) i had to make a complete new wireing andsoftware setup ( jobe done )

And because a doorpanel is just a doorpanel! Why don't make something special
I contact my mate Carlo from Sticky stickers https://nl-nl.facebook.com/pages/Sti...65042720211753 and suggest to make this!

It must be nissan related and thought the nissan le mans 2012 livery would be great.

Had to make the inside of the door matt black

Now sort out the last things to get it on the road

Regards,

A different update
But the fact is was so cool i thought it was worth mention this in my project topic.
Trough this forum i got a pm from a guy from Norway (think 2years ago)
His name is Stian and he asked me a couple questions about my car
We never loose contact since.

Stian asked me one day if i could search for a spare vq engine beacause there aren't many 350z's in norway so find a engine it would be hard to find.
I told him i got a spare engine with maybe a broken bearing ore something! Did not do the diagnostics on that yet.
We would meet up halfway into denmark
So i told my girlfriend the story and we both decided to bring the engine to norway and do some city visiting on the way home(that idea grew out to a complete holiday)
So i packed the engine and put it on the backseat of my daily driven bmw

Drove to danmark and took the ferry to oslo.

Came to the most beautiful place i have ever been (Norway)

At the border i had some things to explain to customs and luckely stian was there to confirm my story about a engine in the backseat.

We drove towards stians house
I finally saw his car in the flash (stunning car)

Stian is going to check the engine what could be wrong and after that it would became a extreme NA power rocket

We were getting along that wel and the same was with the girls so we wil stick around in the nearby city's and come back next weekend!

We were in Oslo as we speak and wil visit some city's in Zweden this week
Next weekend we will hangout again!!

(Hope you guys liked my different update) the s14 wil be readdy in the near future(had to change some things first now)
