Better question would be, ISIS thinking about adding a mid-pipe resonator on the blast pipes, ala buddy club exhaust?

It is on a Stock KA24DE with test pipe. Sr will sound deeper and quieter.

What do you guys think?

Shipment is on the way ~3-4 weeks out.

We have a really old camera ( we are trying to get a better video setup so we can get more accurate sound.

It is a really good sounding exhaust. For being a 3" setup on a KA, it sounds pretty good.

If ISIS can make their exhausts interchangeable, where you can use different pipings off the the different style exhaust and mix them, that would be awesome. Get the full size pre-muffler off this exhaust, then have the blast pipes for the axle back piece. I imagine that wouldnt be too hard to do as long as the mid exhaust flange is placed at the same spot between chassis.

Actually sounds pretty dang good on that ka. 4 cylinder NA's usually sound pretty crappy no matter what. Definitely a little farty but I bet it sounds sick on a FI car. Can't wait

The MBSE and the MBSE Type-E use the same mid pipes. The GT Singles and the EP Duals (blast pipes) use the same mid pipes. However, They arent selling us just the tip sections seperately. We are trying to get them to, but no luck as of yet.

Yes, because the muffler angles up to follow the body line of the rear bumper it gets really close to the tow hook. If you have factory hangers it may move enough to hit it.

this is my review of the ISIS MBSE Type E exhaust.

Over-all this exhaust is GREAT. My friend has the MBSE, so i kind of had an idea of what to expect, but i had no clue how badass this exhaust was going to be.

the exhaust arrives at work, and the box was damaged by UPS, one of the muffler tips was a little bit dented on the side. i was able to hammer it out and smooth it, so its not a issue, clearly a shipping error, Not enjuku/isis.

i opened the box to inspect what all is included, all nuts bolts and washers were included, as well as all gaskets needed. ready to bolt together and go straight on the car.

i couldnt help but to put it all together, to see what im working with.

First things first, i bolted it on the vert, to see how the exhaust looks on a coupe/vert...

heres the outcome.

and then for giggles i tossed it on my DD, just to see how it sounds with a stock KA w/high flow cat

I have to say it fits out further on the hatch, i think this is due to the coupe being slighty longer.

you MAY have to mod your tow hook, i didnt, but i noticed that if you moved the exhaust around enough, it coud hit back at the tow hook.. some ISIS stiff poly exhaust mounts could prove helpfull here.

on crank up, the exhaust is barely noticible (SLIGHTLY louder than stock) under light accelleration, idle, partial throttle, its barely loud enough to be uncomfortable.. under wot/accelleration it definitely wakes up, and is pretty loud. i didnt experience any drone (in comparison to a N1 style), even cruising at 3000 rpms, it was really mellow. Im extremely pleased with the exhaust, and enjuku has been MORE than helpful and accomidating with me.

If that happens, I'd be willing to give it a shot. I just cant do staight pipes anymore, I'm too old for that shit. If it can be slightly quieter than my old Buddy Club II exhaust with the GT Single premuffler, I'll be all up on it.
