Exclamation pulling vg30de

this is my first time ever pulling a motor and i've finally got it to the point where its ready to come out, all i have to do now is drop the transmission and unbolt the motor mounts and it will be ready to go. what i want to know is where am i supposed to hook the cherry picker on the vg? ive been looking around and i dont see any hooks or anything so i'm not sure where to go from here. if anyone knows please post some pics or be very descriptive.

thanx,

you have to use an engine slinger, and either hook it to the 12mm bolts that hold the plenum brakets on the sides. or get longer bolts and hook it up to the center bolts that travel along the center of the upper plenum. the VG30 didn't have hooks from factory. you gotta get creative with it.

Whatever you do, don't lift it by the exhaust manifold studs.

I'm still not sure nissan actually put the engine rear lift point for the s130 on the first stud that breaks off.
