SR screetch noise and leak help

I have a redtop sr20 and there seems to be a leak comming from the rear main seal out of the tranny i replaced it and it still seems to leak but just recently a loud screetching noise developed a long with these leaks from the front cover the T from the valve cover wasn't attached to anything so I made an intake out of a N/A 3000gt(friends old motor) to allow the air to be vaccum back "this is temporary i ordered a intake off of pipingpros.com just waiting for it to come in.

I can take pics of anything else just lmk

At first i thought it was the front main because it makes a sound similar to what others have described the oil was recently changed and was dark black changed with Royal Purple 5w30 nothing white and chunky hasnt overheated according to stock cluster readings.

well the oil seem s to be coming from the Timing chain tensioner, Replace the gasket

the squeak, pin point the location if you think it the water pump check for play on the pump or just pull the belt off crank it for a FEW Seconds and if there is no squeaky noise then there is your problem.
Replace Pump

ya im going to get one when i change that water pump its a little dry rotted. I changed the powersteering belt bc it popped off (stretched) and shredded into two. didnt have enought money to do both at the time.

so i bought the pump the gasket and a new tensioner from Frsport hopefully here midweek so i can get it done before snow falls.

Does the tensioner just come out via the two bolts and just swap the new back in do i have to adjust my timing afterwards?

water pump seems pretty straight forward just drain coolant unbolt water pump replace with new tighten down what tq is good is ole hand tight good? fill rad and such.

I noticed when looking at it today that the overflow tank is below the low point after warmed up and after sitting (off) for a few hrs it didnt seem to change in amount. Is this confirming that water pump is shot?

thanks guys sry for asking so many ? in one post
