can anyone compress a video into a gif?
alright...were working on a forum and we want to use a local guy (drifting in the hills) as the banner, just a small clip of him
but i cant figure out how to make it into a gif...so if anyone could help me out or let me send them the file so i can get it set up any help would be great |

ImageReady may be able to do it, that's how I make animated gif's. If not, try Flash, it would be fairly simple to implement in Flash.
http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Video_Player You can convert the video to flv format and play it in this guys player above. Not sure if that will help you but it's a shot. You can edit it to get rid of the player bars I believe if you want to hide the fact that it's a video.
