There are two car events coming up in the Bay Area in next few weeks. One is a meet and the other is a track day. Everyone's welcome to join.
The meet is on 7/27 (Saturday), from noon to whenever and it will be in the parking lot of Dave & Buster's at the Great Mall in Milpitas. So far, we have a bunch of 00+ Celicas, Club3G and ClubRSX people planning on attending. I'd love to see some Nissans show up. Here's the link for the latest info: http://forums.praxisracing.com/viewtopic.php?t=4728 The track day is on 8/8 (Thursday). It will be held at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA. The cost is $150 per driver and we have the track for the whole day. We have a nice mix of cars signed up to go right now. There are a bunch of Celicas (surprise, since we're the one's setting this up), a couple MR2's, a couple 911's, a couple Focus ZX3's, a F355, a S2000, an Eclipse, and a 300ZX. Here's a link for more info regarding the track day. http://www.praxisracing.com/02-08-thunderhill.php Hope to see some of you at these events! |

Doh!
I'd be going to the Willow Springs track day if I wasn't going to Thunderhill on the 8th. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> |

I think most people here who would be interested are already going to the convention's track event, so probably more would be interested some other time. :P |

Is anybody who's not going to the convention going to D&B's? I'd be interested, but it's still too far ahead to say for sure though.

I'm in Portland, but I'll be around Antelope....how far is it from there? Also....what might I get pulled over for down there? like, is my HKS Hiper, or license plate in the windsheld gonna get me pulled over? I can put the license plate back down...but I can't do anything about my exhaust.

Here's Dave & Buster's.
http://maps.yahoo.com/py....9&mag=8 As long as you don't drive like an idiot, the cops most likely aren't going to hassle you. We've had numerous meets in the D&B parking lot with no problems. The only times they stopped were when some newbie that just got their license thought they were impressing us with a clutch drop. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> |
