Yeah was going to run a HMIC but didn't want to relocate my oil cooler, 4 couplers is the way to go. Just have to make sure the holes in the bay are large enough to get the pipes out.

It helps with angle mods and wider wheels, yes. You will rub otherwise.

Tubs!!!
Frame rail has never been an issue for me. Beat the hell out of those shelf bits and done. Firewall is total opposite. That's why I am doing tubs. Opens front section a ton allowing for more caster.

That makes sense. I guess its more so for guys using knuckles? I always rubbed the firewall. I hate running too much caster though. Makes steering too stiff.

I did it to remove rust, although now with more steering angle it has come in a bit handy, but one of my main foes for steering angle is that god damn tension rod, damn SPL and its beefy as shit tension rod haha

Coolant resivor tank sitting next to the wiper motor. That looks like a great choice for my setup (tubbed front end). Anyone make one? Most companies I have found just do the big cylinder style ones. Any info would be great.

In the process of tubbing the old s13 myself right now, the question I have is why are many people kind of "stepping up" the new flat sheet metal sections higher than the actual frame rails? The easy answer I guess would be for just that little additional clearance?
