There is a fine line between avenging using eye for an eye... and doing a public display which can be interpereted as radical. Stirring up a bees nest is bad enough, but smashing the queen in your shoe and putting it on display in front of all of the workers might be a bad idea. (Bad analogy, I know... considering it has not been proven that bees will have the mental capacity to understand the symbolism of a public display of a destroyed figurehead.... but you get the idea)

You all missed my entire point in my first post.

You are celebrating something that is going to get more people killed(if its even true in the first place). This is going to add another 5 years to this stupid war that no one can agree on why we are even in it. This is just to say "chalk one up for the U.S." so everyone will feel better about lives lost, money wasted, no jobs, ect...

Why would we need to publicly broadcast that we killed one guy that has been the bane of our existence ? Its completely inappropriate and at an opportune time for HIS personal gain.



My rant and was simply to the asshole that questioned my RIGHT to be in the military. I have put my blood, sweat, and tears into my contract. I have and continue to serve my country honorably. But at NO TIME do I agree as to why we are there.

Its none of that and all of it at the same time. I would give anything to keep my soldiers safe and to bring them back safe and sound from whatever their place of duty may be.

But because I choose to think for myself and march to the sound of a different drum does not mean I am any less American or less deserving of the uniform I wear. I am very proud to be in the history books, but not for the reason you all think I .should.

This post, comes off as idiotic at best. Your other posts afterwards, are much better and have slightly changed my feelings about you.

My retort however, is going to be...

If you didn't like the heat, perhaps you should take the time to gather your thoughts prior to opening your big trap.

You can not, in good faith, come out and admit that you had served the military due to your own selfish needs... go and serve the terms over in a foreign country unwillingly (from what you have typed about not being patriotic and not liking the government or agreeing with the war, im assuming you were assigned duty in the middle east unwillingly)... and then command the same respect as the people who actually fought for their country willingly. You didn't choose to make a sacrifice from the sounds of it. You had that decision made for you... because you were baited into the service with dreams of healthcare and a steady paycheck. You then justify your unwillingness by claiming that you are being unique by thinking for yourself.


If anything, your personal vendetta to get your message out about the 'truths' of the government is not original... at all. The hippy movement originated that attitude long before you and I were even a shine in our parents eyes. It's one thing to question the future of our nation and government... but its another thing to spout off conspiracy theories about leaving a known terrorist alive to fuel a war... and then demand respect from the people who actually signed up for the job.

If you served in the middle east, then I tip my hat at you. I won't however, hold you in the same regard as those who actually stepped up to the job without kicking and crying the entire way.
