s13 front sway bar bushings and bracket mm?

Guys, my friend gave me a megan racing 28mm sway bar for my s13 se coupe and it didn't come with anything else like the bushings.

My question is can I order 28mm energy suspension bushings and throw those in the stock sway bar brackets, or do I need new brackets too? I saw someone post that you'll need larger brackets for the 28mm bar. Is this true?

But I also saw on megans page they sell the sway bar with bushings but they don't come with brackets. Does anybody have a part number that'll work for me, thanks.

Unfortunately can't help you on that - but curious what you eventually found.

On a related question, anyone know if the S13 and S14 front sway bar brackets are the same, (disregarding the bushing size/thickness - I have a set of fatties).

i.e. can I use an S14 sway bar on my S13 if it doesn't come with any short parts but I already have bushings for a thicker bar?

Any help would be appreciated.
