Drift Nationals Cal. Spdwy
Drift Nationals was an experience to say the least. All of the Drift drivers and friends showed up to pre-tech & Drivers Mtg. at 'round 9:30ish. There was sooo much going on with SCCA, Cart, Track races, and Nascar practices it seemed a bit exciting to be surrounded by different motor sports. Anyways we finally got to practice around 12pm but the could only give us 2 runs, everyone was pretty bumbed because we were suppose to have 3. After practice we could do nothing except sit and wait for 4 hours until our actual comp. heat came up. By the time comp. came @ 5pm most of the drivers were tired and so out of it. Tires were cold and I'm pretty sure our starting point changed which threw me off. Then it was Comedy drift Hour!!! Lot of us were spinning, loosing lip spoilers, side skirts ect. But in the end Ryan Hampton in JIC's super charged 350Z took 1st, Calvin Wan FD3S took 2nd and they couldn't find the 3rd place winner white s13 coupe??? there was like 5 of them lol . But the best moment was Alex P. final run in his bone stock SC 300. No matter what line he took wether it on or off the track he drifted the whole damn thing with one arm out the window Anyways sorry for such a long post, it was a long day Oh and can't forget to give props to the two guys who drove all the way from Florida for this event for only 4 runs you guys did very well. Sorry for this long post, I'll try and get some pics up

I bet he means those SCCS cars... remember those from VIR? The stock car like things that kept blowing up and dumping oil and other fluids on the track, slowing everyone else down...

Yeah I know. Would you like some peaches w/ that cottage cheese! lol Sorry I don't have many action shots, someone else was taking them while I was on the track. I did have a shot of Kyle's SA22 and an R32 drifting but I jacked up the file. Is there a way to undo a renamed file back to jpg?
