Nice work fella. Yeah that radiator hose scared me when I saw it. It looks exactly like the hose on my vacuum.
How did the owner of that car before you manage to weather that hatch so bad, and the dash survive unscathed? Magic I tell you. Magic. |

Yea motor was rebuild with GTi-R pistons and new conrod bearings however recently we discovered the #4 conrod bearing had spun our observation of the oil pan showed it was bent and may have cause that bearing to go bad. so new Conrod bearings and new oil pan was installed.

At Maveric : rust was not bad just a few spots on the floor and the rear lid which was bad we getting a new trunk lid soon.
Ok guys everything is bk togeather Gearbox installed drove the car around a little not at high speed, just to feel through the gears. the gearbox feels a little tight but i guess with some miles it will be bk to its normal self. pic of ebay (quality not that good was taken with my phone) things to Do * install Aeromotive fuel pump * install power steering pump and plumb the system * make a custom 3" downpipe that should do it for this week |

Ok had some fun yesterday finally went into boost range this car feel amazing the rear tires had no use ha ha ha, motor felt strong at the 10psi, full boost by 3500-4000rpm and holds well all the way to 8000rpm
* After driving the car without Power steering we had decided it feels pretty good so no rush to install the power steering pump. * Fuel pump to be installed and wires inside ebay and interior to be sorted on tuesday. |
