The meet was fun.  I still have yet to really meet a maxima owner I've liked.  A bigass 240 meet would probably have been more fun, but it was a good time none the less.  But then I wouldn't have sat in a 350Z <drool>

Why are you guys bad mouthing the neons?  They were dope yo!  I put in like 10 ballots for best non nissan, but they still didn't win.  It takes a real man to rock steelies.  Got to give them props.  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

I'm still kind of surprised I didn't win best 240.  Oh well.  The S14a and I had pretty much the same mods, mine was cleaner, his was rarer so it could have gone either way.  Cool meeting you Evil S14.  The chick in the S14b was kind of lame.  She's got a friend who does all her mods for her and apparently she doesn't watch since she didn't know jack about them.

In any case, a fun time, though I'm surprised there wasn't a better 240 turn out.  Next year I want to get a meet on the lakefront so be ready.

And I have no idea what you look like 2402NR, I was getting my food when you got there, and thats when I saw your car.

I should be getting my 240 before the next meet, there a couple of cheap s13s on sale right now, imma go hustle the parents and see if they wanna spot me half the money. So far there are 3 red fastbacks all stick around 2Gs, now I gotta go check em out.

Dusty- I don't hate maxima owner's, I've just never founfd anyone I can just talk to.  Dunno, maybe I'm not trying hard enough.  No offense to your ride.

Kid- The lights were a self install.  Pretty easy.  About a thee hour job.  It's all a direct bolt up affair, aside from the wires which must be spliced.

I think Steve's mainly referring to the couple of dudes who ALWAYS show up and take away all the attention.  They talk big and show off their snazzy Stillen parts and huge blowers and big systems and then waste most of the afternoon trying to piss farther than each other.  At least that's what's happened both times I've trekked up there for meets.  As soon as people get tired of drooling on my red valve cover and Lourans' Sentra and Steve's ultra-kleen S13, they all surround the Black Maxes.  You know exactly who I'm talking about.  That skinny guy with ballz of steel and a mouth to back it up and that other guy who talks nothing but shit all day...Lourans knows who.   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

I'm all about a little 240 talk. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I have been looking at 240's for quite a while and I plan on getting one, once I get my life settled down a bit. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'> I think Steve's mainly referring to the couple of dudes who ALWAYS show up and take away all the attention.  They talk big and show off their snazzy Stillen parts and huge blowers and big systems and then waste most of the afternoon trying to piss farther than each other.  At least that's what's happened both times I've trekked up there for meets.  As soon as people get tired of drooling on my red valve cover and Lourans' Sentra and Steve's ultra-kleen S13, they all surround the Black Maxes.  You know exactly who I'm talking about.  That skinny guy with ballz of steel and a mouth to back it up and that other guy who talks nothing but shit all day...Lourans knows who.   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='issed:'>  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> Anyway, I think that's what Steve is referring to.  I think I know which Max is yours...are you boosted and (maybe) Indian?  No offense meant by that ethnic guess.  Just trying to figure out which car/guy you were. Yeah they do talk a bunch, but they also know their stuff, especially the "skinny guy". When speaking to them you have to remember that talk is talk. Or as I always say: Don't sing it! Bring it!! And no I'm not the white 4th gen with the blower. I'm the white 5th gen with the huge stereo!! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> However I don't really "show off" my stereo too much. I prefer being in front of the grill. You just have the hang with the right people!
