JDM vs USDM S13 Driveshaft Center Bearing

Does anyone know if the OEM S13 USDM driveshaft center bearing is the same as the JDM S13 driveshaft center bearing? I just picked up a JDM drive shaft to replace my single piece aluminum DS (im not digging the single piece thing) and I want to have the center bearing replaced on the JDM shaft before installing (and also have it re-balanced if possible or needed).

I don't personally know.

But I don't see why it would be a direct fit. The 5 speed trans are the same. The drive shafts are the same if I recall correctly. Why not the carrier bearing bracket?

Edit:

In response to post #6 from racepar1, I'll be more specific.
The drive shafts are interchangeable if I recall correctly. Sorry for using the term, "they are the same if I recall correctly".

its not the bracket im concerned about, its the inside diameter of the inner sleeve that slides over the shaft itself.

I was referring to the whole ordeal. Sorry for not being too specific. It's been a long day.

I never knew the carrier bearing to be different, but I also hate them and run one piece units.

First off, the S13 SR and KA driveshafts are NOT the same. Dimensionally they are, BUT SR driveshafts do not have the rubber drive doughnut (or guibo), they have u-joints in that position instead. On the rear section of the shaft the KA shaft is solid. The SR rear sections that I have seen are insulated with rubber. The S13 SR shafts are more like S14's.

As for the center bushing, as I remember they are the same. I believe I changed one out a couple years ago.

They share the same part number between the two.
