I know I'm a newbie but I recently came across a throttle body spacer for the KA throttle bodies (Helix Power Tower.) For under a $100 I figured it would be a good buy for my SOHC p.o.s. until I got my SR20DET. On to my questions.... Are the throttle bodies from the KA24E and the Sr20DET the same? Do they have the same bolt positions? Are they the same diameter? I don't want to spend $100 on something thats going to be of no use to me by the end of summer so I was hoping someone could shed some light on the throttle body part numbers so I can match them up. I have looked everywhere for part numbers and have come up empty handed.

p.s. My 240 is an auto SE, but I'm getting a front clip 180sx with a manual and converting the slush box.

this might be a stupid question but what is the purpose of a throttle body spacer..

Well, here's a link... I've read about these before for other cars (mainly muscle cars) and have never heard anything bad about them.
