240s have an R200 diff.....you can use a J30 VLSD, a S13/S14 VLSD, you can use a 300ZX VLSD with the axles, you can throw any R200 diff in there (not the R200 long nose diff though).

Yes, you can, but a long nose requires more work.

Anything can be put into anything with enough fabrication, but he's right, a long nose is a not a straight bolt-in swap.

This question is hard to answer because I can't tell if he wants to swap over a whole diff housing, or just swap over the actual diff itself.

If you want to swap a whole diff housing, any R200 will work if you get a 1piece driveshaft with slip yoke, new bolts, and possibly axles. Reuse the rear cover.

If you just want to swap the diff, then any R200 diff and output flanges will bolt in. You may have to enlarge the ring gear bolts to 13mm, and possibly new axles.

lmao. little up tight bud maybe you should look into it a little bit open your mind and RELAX!

LSD! are koo if you gots cash, welded diff ftw on da cheapssss

I run a 180sx lsd in my s13 its nice for street and minor drifts at speed, low speed shit sucks in it...
but welded is nice for low speed shit, and kinda scary if your BOMBING! down backroads, its not a high speed grip diff thats fo sho;

all in all, try em all. no one can tell you what you like. I have tried em all.
and once I get a G' to drop. KAZZ 2 way. all day.
