ka24de dumping fuel into cylinders and wont start.

So I've got a 92 s13 with a 96 ka24de. Originally it was going to be turbo'd. I had everything hooked up except a maf and a full exhaust. The car started up but ran super rich, I figured it was just because I didn't have a maf hooked up. So I hooked up the maf and got an exhaust made, and the car wouldn't start.
I pulled the plugs and the cylinders were flooded with gas. Pulled the fuel rail and the injector o rings didn't look to good.
I decided to go back to n/a because of lack of money and I had everything needed for it to be n/a except 2 injectors. So I bought the injectors and put all my n/a stuff back on. Go to start it, still nothing. Checked timing, that was good. Pulled the plugs out, cylinders are flooded with gas again. I tried to start it with the injectors unplugged and it started but ran like shit.
I tested the gas in the car and it tested bad. So I emptied the tank and put new gas in it. Still no start. Unplugged the injectors and it started and idled smooth for a second then died.
My fuel pressure regulator is only a few months old and the spark plugs are about a week old.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I'm just looking for any things to try or test.

Make sure your fuel lines arent backwards. Have you taken the rail off and turned the fuel pump on the see if the injectors are sealed?

Your not still running your tune to be boosted are u? A lot more fuel would be being dumped in if so.

I haven't pulled the fuel rail off and turned the fuel pump on, but when I have the injectors unplugged and I try starting it, the cylinders don't fill up with gas. And I'm using a stock ecu, not the tuned one.

I ran into a similar problem. Find a friend with a good running ka24de. Swap one part over at a time until the problem is found. Move the parts to the healthy Ka. I would check the Maf and temp sensor. If no luck there, check the injectors for leaks. If you are still dumping fuel after knowing all your parts are good, change out your engine harness.

So I replaced the coolant temp sensor, cleaned the iacv and the throttle body, and changed the plugs. Still no change, still doesn't start.

at the ignition coil, there are 2 plugs. one small prong and one larger one(check the small one). When i had a similar issue i accidentally must have hit it whilst working on something else loosened the connection enough(shit plug wouldn't click in) so it looked connected but was not. I tried everything when i had this issue randomly stumbled on it after 2 days of working on it.

Also a secondary thing, if you have an alarm make sure it hasnt armed itself. another issue i had. hope that helps...!

Had the same problem, bad knock sensor was the cause. It pulled timing and added fuel according to my tuner
