Alarm problem
I have a 95 240sx SE and for some reason my alarm goes off randomly. Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, how can I fix it or disconnect it? I'm not too sure if they came OEM with it or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if it goes off randomly its probaly the shock sensor (usually after market, some add it to the oem alarm). an option would be to disconnect the shock sensor, so the alarm still works if the door is open and there is still and ignition kill (assuming those were installed). shock sensor is usually a little plastic box about the size of jewlery ring box. if you shake it should feel like there is a magnet or something is suspeneded inside of it. DEI ones are clear and have little lights on it they usually flash red when it feels shock

OEM = hood switch. Unplug it for a couple days, see if stops going off.
