In all fairness, no one expected the Spurs to choke with 28 seconds left. This game was over by all accounts but missed freethrows and lack of rebounds did them in. No one expects a Pop team to lose such a lead. To be honest I still can't believe what I saw. I Tivo'd the game and am re-watching it as we speak. I just don't understand how the Heat won it. Game 7 is sure to be EPIC.

Someone tell me why in the world did they not have Duncan in there for those last few moments in the 4th when they NEEDED the damn rebound? Instead it bounces around and arrives in the hands of the heat players. Let lebron shoot the damn 3. He isn't that great from there. But don't...DON'T let fucking Allen or Chalmbers shoot the fucking ball. So instead of having their best rebounder in the game, they let it bounce around, twice!

And Manu, what the fuck were you doing all game? You were the 2nd best passer on the heat.

This is the guy that had 20+ points in game 5.

Anyways the Spurs lost and are going to game 7 lets see what happens. None of these teams lost 2 in a row so Its only right to say that the Spurs will win game 7 right? Lol

I don't. It may be a "trend" to hate on the Heat but their fanbase is really that bad.

Saw the yellow ropes and championship trophy, decided to call it an evening and never return until they were in route to another championship. That's the flight of the bandwagon.

You should relax, it was a few hundred. It wasn't a mass exodus that most people are making it out to be. Most fans stayed behind and cheered their team on. You speak as if it were a 5 point game with 5 minutes left on the clock and the fans decided "oh well time to jump off the bandwagon". Hell even the NBA thought the game was over and had the trophy out waiting to hand it to the Spurs. I agree that those fans were wrong for leaving early but stop acting like it was the whole fan base that left. You look dumb when you make it sound like that.

I've witnessed Lakers fans do the same damn thing and they have fans from way back. Every fan base has those few fair weather fans that only care when the team wins. You should know this since Cali is full of fans like that as well. Even Boston is guilty of massive fair weather fans. It's sports.....



To put it in perspective, those fans that left didn't live through those horrible Heat seasons in the late 80's and early 90's. So they don't appreciate 3 Finals appearances in a row. Because of this they leave before the game is over, there is no excuse for it but they don't represent all Heat fans. Saying that "the Heat fan base is that bad" is pure ignorance plain and simple.

I don't care much for those lower bowl "fans". They're just rich socialites who are there pumped with silicone and botox. The party is in section 300 and 400 and if you've been to the arena, you know what I'm talking about. Its where all the chants and noise originates from and the section that fills up first, etc etc...

But that shit happens all the time in every sport. If you've been to any type of sporting event, a lot of fans usually leave early when a game is almost decidedly over (and this game was basically over, but occasionally a rare miracle happens like in this game)

It would be nice to stay until the very end, but I don’t think that dictates or further validates your loyalty as a fan. Have you ever dealt with traffic and 1,000 cars all trying to leave a stadium at once? Fuck waiting 30mins-1hour to leave the parking lot with all the fans walking to their cars along with the backup of cars trying to leave. (It’s worst when you head to a game directly after work, your team loses, you’re tired, AND you have to wait forever just to get your ass out of there).

Anyway, Game 7 is tonight. Predictions?

If history of this series is an indication, Spurs will win since they have been alternating W's all series.

However, I think Spurs have run out of gas. They blew the last game and that was theirs to win. Their confidence/morale is probably gone. But D-Wade will play despite his knee, so who knows how effective he will be? LBJ will play without his headband and drop 60/20/10/5.

UNLESS, Stern, as his last act as commissioner, declares that this year's final will be changed to a best of 99 since the ratings/profits are probably through the roof.

I'm still pulling for the Spurs but seems unlikely at this point.

Exactly, the only reason this is a big deal is because we have a bunch of bandwagon following Heat Haters that have no business hating the team just trying to follow whats cool in the NBA today. I notice how no one mentioned how bad the fans are in Indy during the Heat series. Those fans don't even care about their team during the season (they ranked 27th in the NBA this year) yet people (mainly their play by play guy) made a BFD about Heat fans leaving early during a blowout during that series. Look I love America it's the land of the free but it's also full of mindless followers that can't think on their own so they use social networks like twitter to help them decide what bothers them about a certain subject. Again I don't agree with those fans that left but I also don't feel they represent REAL Heat fans or the whole Heat Fan base. When I hear blanket statements like that, it makes me want to slap a bitch.



:Enkei2k: I would agree with you if this were the Griz or Thunder but the Spurs are proven Champions and all around great players. As tired as they are I expect a huge punch from them and this game could be more Epic than game 6. I think they will be more than ready to play tonight. Pop won't let them come into to nights game without being mentally ready. I honestly hope you're right LBJ has a legendary game tonight but I'm sure the Spurs are going to do everything to prevent it. Ultimately the Heat win it in another nail bitter.

If you look at Game 6, Parker shot terribly 6-23, Manu was a walking turnover machine, and Danny Green didn't go off. Only Duncan went off. I'm not sure if Duncan can repeat that performance (he should be able to do enough though), but everyone else on the Spurs probably can do better. I don't think the Spurs can can play worse than that and it would be odd if they have 2 games in a row like that.

Spurs got this. Look at how horrid they played in game 6, yet they almost won the game.

Fatigue is what caused them to play horrible in Game 6 and they're probably even more tired today.

I want the Spurs to win but the likelihood of them winning isn't very high. I expect the Heat to run circles around them.

I hope that I am absolutely WRONG but we'll see.

I'm confident the Spurs can play better than they did in Game 6, but fatigue is what I'm most worried about. Even though they swept the Grizzlies and got a lot more rest than the Heat, these are very old men.

Maybe Pop can play the youngsters (or even TMac! haha) a bit more and gauge whether they can at least hold the game or do better and if they can't bring the old guys back in.

Great game but man, SA left soooo many people open for threes. It really opened the game up for the Heat. Anyways, I'm happy for the Heat. Lebron really showed up tonight and it showed. I can't say it enough... Oh and Norris Cole is probably the luckiest dude on that team. First year, gets a ring. 2nd year gets a ring!? Ballin!

If I was a legit Spurs fan, I would be absolutely crushed by Game 6 and 7. Truly winnable games.

A lot of my friends are saying Laker runs at the Title next year, the people I deal with man. SMH. Ain't no way a Mike D'Antoni coached Dwight less Laker with an aging PG--no an AGING roster--is going to have a legitamate chance at a title.

The Lakers are fucked and the organization is fucked. If I had the opportunity to run the org and coach, I'd do it.
