Sup my name is Miguel. My older brother just hooked me up with a 1989 240 coupe with a KA in it. As of right now it doesn't run but hopefully in the next couple of days it will be up and running. My idea right now is to just have a car that I can daily then from there I'll be able to take it to the next level.

What up Im Jae... New to the forum 'as a member' but not new to the 240sx scene..
I should have signed up for this site 10yrs ago (Thats how long ive been browsing it). Ive owned and built everything from Mazdaspeed3's to Turbo Hondas. Nothing compares to the S Chassis and RWD. I Currently have my s13 ripped apart, just sent the block & head to the machine shop to get decked and beefed up, in the meantime I'll be gettin it ready for paint... |

Suhhhh dude my name is Kyle. I live in the South Bay; Redondo Beach/Torrance area. I may only own a 1995 Corolla but I got bit by a bug a few weeks ago after seeing this awesome community of enthusiasts that I'd love to be a part of with my own S13 chassis some day. Follow my threads in the future when I do nab one of the best Nissan cars out there.

Tomoko, Washington state. Looking to get a 240 in the future and sell one of my project cars and/or parts. Gonna be a tough one to do. But I'm all about the V8 swaps. Lots of purists may not be a fan of it, but there's something about it. all my cars except maybe one or two are V8 powered.

Hi everyone, Im Alex. I've owned my 92 sileighty for about a year now (first car/first love). Runs strong and I love it. Have yet to have any issues and its a daily, absolutely love it. Have many plans for it, but its going to be a long build. I love all cars and frequent to a lot of events around me. If anything, its a showcar as I have no intention of ever abusing it on the track or whatever.

Hi everybody my name is Dan and this is my very first S chassis. I'm a thirty something family man who is still very much into anything with and engine/motor and wheels.
I bought my 96 240sx last month as a replacement to previous fast cars's Ive owned like my 585whp 2011 GT500 or 67 Camaro w/ ZZ4 which are no longer with me. This time around i'm going to focus more on improving my driving skill and car control around a road course like Thunderhill, CA which is about 90 minutes away.

Hey Zilvia!
My name is Jason, I am located in Cincinnati, OH. Currently do not own a 240SX, but did have an 89 S13 back in 2005 or so. Had to sell it for college. I have about 6K saved up and looking for another S13. I don't have a whole lot of mechanical skills so I am not sure about buying a shell and SR20 and mating the two, or to just purchase an already swapped car. Most of the cars I see on craigslist look rather sketchy... I work on PCs for a living for the government. And enjoy video games and hanging with the wife. |

New guy
Hello everybody. I've been scouring the Zilvia pages for a while doing research. Now that i finally bought a 1995 240sx SE, i decided to go ahead and become a member. Im not too experienced automobile wise, but i have worked on aircraft for 10 years. So diagrams, theory, tools, wiring, and troubleshooting are not a foreign place. I will be asking a lot of beginners questions, after ive exhausted efforts to find it for myself, so bear with me. I did pickup a service manual to help guide me, but experience, especially from this community, can show teach me things a book cannot in some regards.
The 240sx i picked up isnt in the greateat ahap and will likely need the engine pulled. The previous owner over torqued the sparkplugs which causes me now to rethread the head. Most importantly, the car doesnt run and spews white smoke out of the intake. I know the timing is good, so far and no gases are making it out of the exhaust. Well, let the fun begin. I look forward learning each and every member as i progress in technical experience. |
