Want A/C in your car? Brackets for S14 owners with S13 Redtops or S15 SR!

Finally, after finding a local guy, I'm now able to sell my custom A/C Brackets that allow S14 owners with S13 redtop or S15 engine swaps to retain the factory S14 Air Conditioning Compressor and lines!

I've had the setup on my car for a while now, but made it by hand...It worked, but they took a while to make. Now I found a CnC shop that agreed to make them for me!

So anyhow, here are the pictures...the final production ones will feature nice rounded corners to look all fancy, but this initial piece was for mockup and test fit.

The upper holes are countersunk in order for the bottom bracket to not hit the condenser itself. The kit will also include 4 new bolts +washers to attach the brackets to the factory brace, and will allow the use of the factory bolts to attach it as well...

Worried about strength? The pieces are made out of steel, and are 1/2 thick. I did 6 track events this season and didn't break mine or even stress it out...and I made my initial ones with a drill and tap.

And now for a picture of them installed

KIT ONE: 95 Shipped
Please, PM me with your info so I can give you the correct shipping priceing (this price includes two brackets, 4 bolts)

KIT TWO: 110 Shipped
For 2 brackets, 4 attaching bolts, and A belt

KIT THREE: 116 Shipped
For 2 brackets, 4 attaching bolts, a belt, and 4 compressor bolts

ALL PRICES SHIPPED ARE IN US ONLY, NOT INCLUDING ALASKA OR HAWAII.

S15 engine owners take note - only kit one will work with your setup!

IF YOU ARE CURRENT ACTIVE COMPONENT MILITARY, PM FOR SERVICE DISCOUNT.
ANYONE GOOD ENOUGH TO JOIN UNCLE SAMS CLUB LIKE I DID, CAN GET A BREAK ONCE IN A WHILE

Reply or PM me, and I will provide you with my paypal ID.

Thanks guys, hopefully this is what some of you have been looking for...I know the whol 'reweld this line' and 'use this line' crap was old news to me...this clears all of those problems

No clue how the CA bracket looks or works, so I ahve no clue I've actually never even seen a CA18 in real life to even remotely tell you if they would be close :/

Good to see there is enough involvement!

I went on the Carquest remote parts program, and they list a different KA compressor between the 91-93 and the 94 cars. So I've got both coming in on order to ensure they are the same or different. I've also get 89-90 SOHC comrpessor coming as well....all for mock up for s13 redtop-s13 ka brackets

I've got another member who will be testing this for me in the next day or so. He's the one that helped me determine it worked for S15 cars as well.

I am/was working on my S13 DOHC KA to S13 Redtop SR brackets today, and have finished making my prototype.

However there is something I'd like all to know:

The S13 KA compressor's bolt pattern prohibits me being able to create a bracet that utilizes all 4 bolts on the compressor. Instead, I am able to
utilize 3 of the 4 bolts (if looking at the compressor from the drivers side of the engine, the upper left, and both bottom holes). The CnC/Machine shop,
as well as myself, said that the 3 bolts should be more than sufficient to hold the compressor through the rigors of daily driving and racing (they do make race suspension parts for a few big name companies).

With that said, I should be seeing my initial pieces within a week....so with that said, I would like to get an idea of how many I should make for the initial run of these parts...I'm not sure on costs yet, but I would assume they would be less as the material used is considerably less.

Check back often for updates, as I will keep you all informed.

I also am currently in the process of aquiring and S13 Blacktop bracket (to make s13 dohc/s14 dohc KA adapters), as well as an S14 owner's feedback this weekend as far as fitment for S14 KA compressor, and a bracket for that as well (so I can make brackets)

I'm hoping by First of June that I can get these all madeup, as I have A/T for my Reserve unit from Jun 1 to Jun 16...that way I can get them all out before the rush!

Thanks again everyone!

If they are dohc ka compressor to redtop ac bracket i will definately be wanting one of these brackets. By the way I have a sohc s13 chasis will this prevent me from utilizing this bracket? Will I be able to just bolt on the dohc A/C stuff compressor, lines ,condenser, etc...?

No I do have a guy testing fitment this weekend though to see if my redtop ones work with S14 brackets....however I do know S13 blacktop brackets are way different.

MORE UPDATES

I've got an s13 blacktop bracket being shipped to me as we speak...so I should be able to crank those out soon.

Also, it appears that S13blacktop/s14 blacktop brackets are THE SAME...if that's the case, I should be good to go with those as well

The only thing I'm unsure of is the SOHC lines bolting up the DOHC compressor. If they have the same ends, then it should work for you

I'm waiting for a S14 KA compressor > S13 Blacktop bracket. Can't wait till it's done. It's too hot
