FMIC vs HMIC for S13

I love the idea of keeping my intercooler tucked up high, barely any additional lag, nice tight appearance in the engine bay. I've had to replace a front mount core or 2 in the past from hitting road debris and rocks kicks up in it but I ask this....

Is it worth it?

All the extra cutting on the core support, no longer being able to have A/C (not that I ever use it or really need it here), and relocating my headlight motors for a short time until i swap on a Silvia front end.

Stockish SR20 setup by the way. It's my street car so it won't be going too wild power wise; maybe a M7960 kit eventually....under 400 for sure.

Definitely worth it. Maximize the effectiveness of your clutch fan.

The dimensions are 28x7x3.25. That’s ~630 cubic inches of volume this thing cools. The medium eBay FMIC’s are roughly 400 cubic inches. You do the math.
