Ok before the rumor mill gets too carried away.
The track is there, its in fine condition... They have promised us some improvements before our event date, but we've tested it in its current condition, and its awesome! It is NOT a full road course don't get us wrong (price of the event reflects this), but it is a real and present track and it will beat the pants off any parking lot event. Don't worry. So... to summarize, the track is there, its not torn up, its in geat condition, and if NO improvements were to be made, we'd be fine. But... they're gonna add an overhang to the grandstands for us, they're gonna put up some new fencing, some new paint, some new berms, etc... Hope this clarifies... www.ncda.net |

Regarding Competition
We're going to let the participants decide... when registration is full.
An Extra hour of time, a single winner competition, a purse with 1st 2nd 3rd... We have plenty of time, this is not a "corporate" event, we've always said, put together by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, so we'll cater to the overall wants and needs. All in due time... Stay tuned. www.ncda.net -Drifters Wanted |

You and I both wish these tracks were less of a business... But with them its just business.
Ok, heh, to clarify again, the organizers = enthusiasts the track = the unfortunate business end. I have an idea, lets all pool our money, and build our own track. Track GB, I'll organize it |

So to clarify cause i'm retarded....
The track day is a practice day. You want to make one hour for competition. The track is finished and not rough gravel bullshit I will spin out a lot cause it's my first time on the track. Is this all correct.? PS can you please get a picture of the track overview and highlight which part of track we will be using? I hope it's all the 90 degree turns in a row, that looks hella fun.

Al - let's do it!
balmo - tandem is doubtful... But if thats what everyone really wants, anything's possible. wbpimp - The day is a drift educational and practice day first and foremost. There has been alot of desire for a small competition, that is an option. The track has been there for years, it is a REAL PAVED track. NOT GRAVEL. Last one isn't a question, but I agree you probably will spin out . No biggie. |

Dildo-Shift-Knob-Guy: Yeah they are going to have instructors. A lot of first-timers will be there for sure, so don't feel like you're alone. Also you can always ask other drivers to ride shotty and give you tips.. looks like Andy Yen (is it THAT Andy Yen?) is signed up also, so ask him. He has a Hachi
Var: I think they're gonna have some kind of preview of the layout in a few weeks... |

i'm semi-concerned about extra tires/rims. anyone have like 8 extra stock steelies they can sell or give away? i dont wanna waste my es100's spinning out all day plus dont wanna dis-mount them. i'll just throw some used tires on them and waste em at the track.
