Private Drifting n Sept: 19th @ Buttonwillow
This is not a meet. I don't need un necessary specatators. This is nothing fancy.
When: September 19th 2003 Who: Just us Drifters and Grippers (but hardly) What: Drift Practice Where: Buttonwillow Raceway. http://www.buttonwillowraceway.com/ We are going to run East Loop only. Maybe counter Clockwise if people agrees. We are looking for 15 cars only. I can't have more than 15 cars due to insurance issue. If you would like to sign up please email the organizer. It will be $120 for the whole day starting from 8Am to 5PM. Lots of track time and less cars. [email protected] |

>>question: is this the same event as referenced in this thread??
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread....&threadid=35898<< No. This is a different private event. >>if so, why the difference in price and who's putting it on? either way i'm down..but if it's $120 i am twice as down..<< Im not making any money out of this. I just want to practice at the track and I would like to invite you guys. I don't have problem getting 15 of my friends to drift with me but its a weekdays and I need to cover my bank for the deposit that I made to Buttonwillow Raceways. Modified Toys Speed Shop (www.modifiedtoys.com) is the one running the event and big ups to www.ghettoracer.com for getting the track date for us. >>I would be VERY interested....let me see if I can get it off work and I'll let you know in the next few days.<< From my best knowledge this event will be full Tomorrow. 15 Drifters is not hard to get. So first come first serve. Don't think twice about it. Payment - Im located at San Jose and I will need the payments by Wednesday or you can go ahead and pay via paypal but I will have to charge you the paypal fee's. I guess I can always eat top ramen for a month, but I don't really wanna go THAT far, hehe. I hope you can put it on again maybe as a xmas/new years drift party |

Please email [email protected] to save your spot.
Please don't fully concentrate on drifting on how to get sideways but learn the basic teqnique of gripping. I really encourage you guys to do some grip racing first. Drift should come to later, later stage since its more of an art driving. If you learn how to go fast and gets the idea of cornering turns then slow and sideways should come easy. There will be 2-3 Instructor that is more willing to help you guys out. Don't be scared to say hello and ask question if needed. My name is Al as you guys know and I will be driving my POS AE86 Orange. |
