Seafoam works wonders for me lol If you do seafoam your car you should do a very minor tune up nothing major to aid you also do your oil change too with good oil

also switch up your fuel like SoCalDrifter said that helps too.

seafoam is easy man..

grab a 3 spray can caps and divide the sea foam can in to 3...

*make sure car is at operating temp.
*locate your brake booster hose
*unplug it and plug it with your thumb
*then slowly get the sea foam in there. when your almost done.. pour all the seafoam in that 1 cap till motor stall
*pour the other cap in the crank casing and the other in gas tank.

let it sit for 15-20 minutes.

*start the car up (might have to give it some gas)
*keep a constant RPM 3000K at most. dont drive the car.
*alot of white smoke will come out.
*make sure you do this in a well ventilated garage. a fan may help also.

untill all the smoke is done. do you tune-up

spark plug, oil, fuel filter. and done.

be careful though. seafoam on old cars can actually do more damage as the carbon build up motors is what is keeping the motor strong.

seafoam sure.. that work...or run 3/4 of gas in ur gas tank and dump 2 denature alcohol into ur gas tank and drive it to the emission place quick before the gas dissolve the alcohol.. and dont floor it or go pass 2k rpm... it should pass like no other.....i done it to my other car and sr and vg ... ...i help no responsible for your motor..and this method only should be the last resource....

yea thats what ive been reading also.. carbon build up helps the motor keep its compression or what not and seal up bad gaskets that got damage over time.. luckyly i havent had a bad run with it.

all the cars ive sea-foamed are less than 150K

and yea you can ask at kragen or autozone..

All these techniques have been discussed, in great detail, prior to you starting this thread.

In the future I recommend you doing actual RESEARCH instead of just expecting everyone to spoon feed you answers.
