Question for Power FC Users

Hey everyone,

I just installed a set off 550cc injectors from Five-O on my car. After installing them, I cranked the car up and it fired right up. Normally, this would be a good thing, but I'm kinda skeptical because, from all the reading I have done, I was expecting the car to not start until I set the correction for the injectors. In my injectors tab under settings, everything was at 100% for duty (switched from stockers). Now, I set the duty down to 67, as I thought that was proper for 550s, and the car bogged down to about ~770rpms and saw vacuum around 17. my car is set to Idle at about 950 and see vacuum of 19-20. So, I played with the ms setting and raise it. The Idle went back up. I am kinda scared they may not be the right injectors. Anyone experience anything like this?

My setup is:
Built head (stock cams)
Greddy valve springs
Crower Retainers
Z32 MAF
2871R .64 A/R
Tubular manifold
Sard FPR
Walboro 255
Sard R2D2
Five-O 550cc
Power FC L-Jetro (I can anything from this needed)

get back to me!

-Lawz

How rich is your fuel map? Also, is it set for the Z-maf? On my RB25, for some reason, I can run my 550cc injectors and Z32 MAF on my stock ECU. Something about that setup cancelled each other out.

It's not that rich, Everything from load 1 down to eight or so is right at 1 or 14.7 for the first two columns. and, yea I the setting for the Z MAF selected and all of the voltage options are at 100% as well. Before these, I has them set a little different.

Did you managed to put in the latency correction for the injectors?

Well, I guess that is the confusing part for me. I don't have any latencies from Five-O. I looked at Dw latencies, People are using 1.10ms so I subtracted .70 from that. When I did this the idle went up t ~900, but idk if this is necessarily correct since it idled fine at 100%

Your engine will idle fine anywhere from 11:1 all the way to 17:1 air fuel ratio without much noticable difference.

You need a wideband, installed about 3-5 feet away from the turbocharger, with no exhaust leaks anywhere to adjust it easily, properly.

I had the same issue with 5oh injectors. They suck. I had to fight with the guy send them back etc etc. got my money back went with fd3s injectors set up the injector correction as in the manual and no issues at all. The injectors do not flow what they state at idle and over flow under boost. Causes tons of issues
