car 1500
speakers for rear 79.00
strut bars 58.00
brakes (oem) 100 bucks i think
150 for stock s13 rims with good tires
traded my ps2 for a hotshot header
traded the rims that came with the car for eibach sportlines (the rims were american racing rims )

keep in mind i still have to buy an aftermarket clutch, and a slew of other things, and next winter a turbo for the KA24DE

shoot me, this is gonna get damned expensive.

I have about 20k total invested (not bad when you think about comparable performance cars in this price range, thats how I always justify the expense)...including the total for the car, which I bought several years ago for around 8k...Not too bad considering I have been lucky enough to upgrade just about everything.

Car $800
Transporting it from Ohio to Florida $200
SR20DET Front Clip $2700
Stock intercooler & Piping (The one on the front clip was damaged) $150
Heavy Throttle EZ Install Kit $120
Koyo Aluminum Radiator $320
Megan Racing Turbo Extension, Downpipe, Test Pipe, and Catback Exhaust $350
Paint + Tools (Painting it in my garage, so I had to buy all the necessary tools) $1000
Strut bar $110
KYB Struts/Shocks $170
Aerospeed Lower Springs $60
Cusco Camber Plates $100
Sound System $200
Silvia Headlights, grill, and headlight brackets $330
Body Kit (Front and rear bumper, 30mm front and rear fenders, side skirts) $1300
Interior (Brown to Black) Conversion $300
Corbeau Seats $300

All the work has been done by my father and I in our garage, so I saved a lot of money there. My father has spent a great deal of money in buying tools, which is where I was lucky. There is still a lot more stuff that I will need and a lot that I don't really need. I enjoy spending my hard earned money on this car though. The car is still up on jack stands at the moment, and I predict it to be done within the next month or two. I started this project a little less than a year ago from now.

Est total $8510

Jeez that list is almost right nearly a year later, except I added a whole lot of suspension mods on top of that. Subtract 2800 from insurance paying for my accident, cost including the car about 35k. Still not done!

honestly I was going for just speed, but somehow a 240sx with a 4 banger just sounded better than a hillbilly 80s camaro, and im in detroit area where that shit is more common than anything, plus handling was a nice bonus, and any year camaros or T/A sept 98 plus T/A look like shit, and I have an american mustang, american cars are just blah.

oh ive spent like 7 grand and its still slow, but i dont care its fun. and could be fast with a grand or 2 more,
