zenki windshield???

I've search but no luck, so I'm asking has anyone used anything other than the oem seal for the windshield? Mine is done and since I have some rust to repair the windshield has to come off. Any help would be appreciated.

Courtesy parts doesn't sell zenki windshield seals. They do, however, sell s13 and s14 hardware for windshield replacement.

This might not be true for Zenki's, but I've had new windshields put in both my S13's and they used a universal seal. Looks fine.

The problem with the universal seal is that whenever it rains, the oem seal has a lip/guide that makes the water flow up or down and not towards the window. If you have the univeral seal, you will no longer have the lip/guide and the water will just run across your a pillar and down into your car if your windows are open at all. At least this is true for all the universal windshield seals i've ever seen.
