Our wheels are dipped; not actual wood. This makes for an even smoother surface and longer lasting finish! No worries of wood chipping or cracking either! Thanks for your interest! Have a good weekend!

Which woodgrain wheel are you referring to? We have a couple different options, and with the one pictured at the first post of this thread being a custom painted edition. All of them are available on our website griproyal.com, shipping is flat rate $15! Thanks!

Received my wheel from GripRoyal yesterday. Ordered it last friday, received on wed. I got a Royal Hills (Tinted woodgrain).
My review: The package arrived and was shipped very well. The wheel was wrapped in a layer of thick bubble tape and no damage occured. First impression: THIS THING IS LIGHT! Now worries, it feels firmer than my MOMO Competition (which the leather was starting to peel apart on). Came with a neat labeled bag, thank you invoice for ordering (+1 in my book, going the extra mile with customer service), some Grip Royal stickers and business cards. Whoever is running this business has great entrepreneurship and customer service skills. Install was a breeze, simply unbolted my MOMO and bolted on the Royal Hills with the supplied hardware (flat allen bolts FTW, comes with matching key) and off I went. Will be posting some pics soon. The wheel feels very nice, and for anyone wondering, it is the same size as my 330MM MOMO, and smaller than stock wheel. Overall: A+ satisfaction. Great communciation via social media with the owners, and quick shipping. I can't see any other budget wheel out there for the price that would beat this. *Only request, let me get a horn button soon guys - As you can see, it appears black in low light, but shows a very nice woodgrain under sunlight |

Would love to have a hot pink wheel, unfortunately I've got other things to sink my cash into on my car. Will definitely think of griproyal when it comes time to spruce up the interior.

just installed my royal hills in my e36 m3 today. The steering wheel is great, the build quality far surpassed my expectations, it was rather light, but very strong, i tried bending it lol. the wheel is a true 330mm we compared it against the 350mm nardi deepcorn my friend has. I installed the steering wheel with a momo hub, wired correctly somy horn would work and the airbag light wouldn't turn on.
well here is one pic of it installed, two thumbs up

Wondering any updates on my wheel? I forget when you said the next batch was going to paint. Do you plan on selling horns any time soon? I know I could get a black momo, but we both know that wouldn't look good.
Let me know, thanks. |

Any update on a gripRoyal horn button and what it would look like?
Will be ordering a Royal Hills in the next month or two for sure as I just ordered my mom hub right now. |

Most of our customers aren't showing interest in a horn button, and our trial blank outsourced ones aren't selling to fast either... so we're currently holding off on the horn buttons! We'd like to in the future, but on our current budget we can't do it!
