megan coils

i have some megan coils i just got. i have a freind who had some before and he was tucking 15" wheels with his and mine stops half way down it loks like there is a metal thing in there stopping it from going lower i wanted to know if you could take it out. i have tried to take it out but it wont come out
THAT RING IS WHAT WONT LET ME GO LOWER

no in the rear its still able to go 2 inches lower but it wont rotate any more

there is no thread on the bottom only the top two and that ring is what is stopping me from going lower i think im going to use a dremal
