You know what I've always wondered about that movie? If the eagles could fly in there and pick them up, why didn't the eagles fly them in there to destroy the ring? It would have taking three books and 16 hours of movie down to about six pages and a commercial length story.

Then why didn't it laser everyone at the gates when they distracted him?? I never saw this lasering effect. Plus eagles could have flown high, and then in a dive out of the sun came in fast and it would have been over before they were seen.

I drove my stockish (but frequently abused) 200k+ mile KA S13 1500ish miles from Riverside, CA, to East Texas. I only made a few quick stops for snacks, gas, and piss breaks. It took about 25 hours. The car did fine, save for some weird bogging while going through some elevation changes through Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico (12-13 hours in). After that, it was smooth sailing.
So to answer your original question... Yes, yes I would. |

i drove orlando, FL to ocean city, MD for h2o last year 900 miles each way. but once i was there i drove about 100-200 miles going to meets and the shows. (put on over 2k that weekend) only problem i had was blowing the coolant line going to the turbo from the back of the block ugh worse thing ever to change on a hot SR20. also i drove from tallahasee to orlando (250 miles the day before i left for the show lol)
i go to to school in tallahassee so i make the 250 mile each way trip about twice a month and i daily the sh!t out of my sr20 lol its fun..........

Thanks WHITECAR thats one heck of a road trip.....9400 miles wow.....
I am pretty sure I will be ok.....I mapped out the gas stations along the way. I should be able to get there in 4 stops....I think I get about 27miles to the gallon.....I probably can get better but I am heavy footed. I plan on buying 2 tires for the rear....my pegleg wore out the left tire because of the slippery canyon i drive to go to work everyday....I will install the new VLSD on friday. I will probably start another road trip thread?? Are there any SAN ANTONIO area zylvia members on here?? If so PM me?? |

Drove mine down to Tennessee for IA from Michigan last summer. Took it across the state into the mountains and then back home in 90+ degree temps. Ended up being about 1700 miles round trip- thankfully I got home without any issues. Fifth gear blew out about a week later though, lol.
I daily mine about 70 miles per day to and from work during the summer months. For the most part it is usually pretty reliable. Good luck with the trip! |

Drove to and from San Diego and Humboldt ~1500 mi round trip with my old s13 with a red top no problems, same car with the KA i drove to Santa Cruz from San Diego 900 mi round trip several times no problems. With my new SR powered S13 I've driven from Humboldt to Santa cruz 700 mi round trip 3 times thus far with no problems...
Its been my experience that a car takes more of a beating in stop and go city driving than it does cruising at 70 over a long distance. If you are at all worried just cruise and you'll be just fine |

The car had 200,000+ miles with valve ticking and timing chain slap. Didn't have a single problem. Just keep the damn thing maintained. |

I drove my fastback from the Bay Area to Fresno then to Las Vegas and to San Diego. I have over 300K on original motor. Still runs like a champ, not as great when I first purchase it.

About 2000 miles in a week vacation from Greenville Sc to Pittsburgh Pa and a bunch of driving in between. No problems at all out of a 91 coupe.

From Missoula MT to Seattle then down the coast to LA and over to phoenix not sure on exact miles for this trip but 2k+ would be a safe estimate.
