I guess I might as well post a pic of my "race" car. It is an '89 fastback that can be seen running down cones in the Ozark Mountain, St Louis, and possibly Kansas City SCCA regions

(yeah, kindofa sucky pic...ok, really sucky...but anyway...)
There are pieces from at least 5 parts-cars in this thing...but it's almost ITS legal (not to be mistaken for ITS competitive). This was our "God-we-hope-the-engine-doesn't-blow-up-or-the-brakes-quit-working-or-they-run-us-off-for-being-way-too-loud Autocross Test Day."

Total investment so far...~$1100, including spare parts/parts-cars.
Hopefully, we'll have it on track in September.

I got a nice shot of my car spinning out in the exact same corner! I was kinda proud of myself for sliding it through the next gate without killing any cones.

Even a blind squirrel with a bum leg can get a nut every once in a while! Here I am. I am usually crammed behind the lense of a camera but the guys let me drive every once in a while:

Me and my co-pilot Jesse. She tells me when to start drifts matter of factly.

I took that turn wider and wider every run. It was a fun one.

My homeboy Vijay was shotgun with me for this one.

As you can see the bonehead still has his arm out the car. Hahhahaa

I actually got some ripping tirespin on that one!

I am still learning. These were from my fourth event. The 5th one is coming up this Wednesday. I am going to try to practice some clutch kicking then.
