Wiring issues! S13 2jz
Long story short... Had some shop wire my s13 sr swap close to 8 years ago now... Everything seemed to work great... Dropped in 2JZ with brand new wiring specialties harness and now my dash/ECU does not power off after the key is turned... Starter signal wire seems to be getting a constant 12v as soon as the battery is connected. So I pulled the fenders off and notice a bunch of odd splices in the driver side fender well. Please help! Are these stock connections? Any ideas?

Most of those connections are factory wiring splices. The red/blue wires go to you lights. Start tracing the others and see where they go, use an FSM to verify too. I doubt your chassis harness is the problem since it "worked" on your last swap. Start looking at the things that changed.

Is it normal for this plug to have constant power? I'm pretty sure this is where the starter signal wire on the new harness plugs into I really haven't done much in terms of wiring since the last swap. It's pretty much all been just removing and installing the new engine

Starter has constant power all the time. It's the solenoid that gets power when you turn the key...
That plug looks like something that would plug into the alternator.

That plug does indeed goto the starter - the alternator is above it if I'm not mistaken. I believe the pins on my harness are reversed for the starter.. We noticed this after doing some continuity tests Black/yellow wire (ignition) going to white on WS harness White wire (constant 12v) going to black/yellow on WS harness Shooting Yuri an email to confirm our suspicions

Just unpin and straighten it up.

Found and fixed the problem. There was a black/yellow wire coming off the ignition that was cut. I noticed this as I was removing the alarm system. Reattached all stock wiring back together and all issues thus far have been resolved! That wiring specialties harness besides that one misplaced pin worked flawless! Fires up with no problem now
