Well...it doesnt look like I will be able to make it for this one. The place that is doing the SR swap for me is having tranny bolts "over-nighted from Japan". The only problem with that is they have been being overnighted for about a week and a half so far. I would drive my other car, but I dont think i would fit in driving an S10. Well...maybe next time.

Hey Champster, did I see you driving north on Wadsworth around Bowels yesterday 2pm-ish? I don't see many '97-'98 cars around here, so I noticed one(especially it being white). Just wondering..

I'm sure it was. I got off work early yesterday and I went to the gas station afterwards. I live right off Wadsworth in Littleton.
Its funny...I'm always getting invites from Hondas to race on Wadsworth. Last edited by Champster; 08-18-2003 at 05:26 PM.. |

Looks like I will have to stick with only the rear of my 5 lug swap done for the meet unless someone has the tools to help me get the fronts done. If you wanna help PM me asap Here is what I need to do...
Complete Front 5 Lug Swap w Z Brakes, thats not the hard part. The problem is Drilling my Struts Mount Holes to 14mm s14 bolts, Pressing in my Lower Control Arm Poly Bushings, and possibly Pressing in the Moog s14 Ball joint. With the right tools I could get this done in 4 hours Ahh well, anyways if anyone has some free time and the tools I need pleeeease let me know! All I really need is a press and a nasty drill, Id buy the bit since its going to get destroyed. If not, I will see yaz at the meet with half 5 lug half 4, Rockin the 15x6 f 17x9 r setup yo! lol |

Actually, I got bored just awhile ago and took a hair dryer and pressed them bitchs in with my hands although I still need the Ball Joints in, im scared to get them in with a hammer like everyone says can be done. Maybe Ill give it a try. I dont think im going to go ahead and try and swap the fronts as Im not sure of a shop that can press the old LCA Bushings out and remove the Ball Joints and Press them in, and sadly I cant afford a drill since all my money is in paypal and I cant activate my debit card from them. O well, better to be at the meet with a half complete swap then not be there at all.

im not the meet-starter, but my first reaction is hell yea! the more the merrier.I just love people who love cars; don't really care what car. Although it's cool to see other people w/ your car and why the chose it. Def. Bring the 300zx guy! Another 240 guys is bringing his 95 Red Integra because his 240 is down. So i think anything goes; if you like windy roads and taking em at break-neck speeds; you're alright w/ me. =)

i'd say as long as your not a dick and down with nissans anyone is welcome. i went to a toyota meet in a nissan quest once.
just a warning tho, we may be doing a bit of mountain driving, i dunno for sure, but we did last time. so try not to show up in a bus or something. |

wussup everyone, well i couldn't make it to the last meet cause of some h20 pump issues but my car is up and running. i might bring a couple friends but they'll bring their cars. one of my friend is probably gonna bring his g20 and the other will probably bring his wrx. dont worry though, they love 240's. damn, i lucked out last time so i hope nothing happens this time.

Hey Denver guys, are we still going to caravan down there? There was a post on COSR (before it shut down) about meeting up at Krispy Kreme donuts on Quebec off of C-470 at around 9:30. Anyone still want to do this? Then we can all leave at 10AM and caravan down to the Springs.
