5 lug wheel requirements

i am currently doing a 5 lug swap on a s13 and i have herd around here that 17's are the largest wheels that i can do. also the smallest you can do when doing a z32 brake swap. Now i'm not pretending to be an expert on wheels and i've tried searching zilvia and others.

what i need to know is when doing a 5 lug conversion using z32 backs and conversion hub fronts what wheel sizes can i use so that it still fits the z32 brakes.

these are the wheels i was thinking of 17x9 Rota Grid - Flat Black Red Lip(5x114.3/e25/73) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer.

now some people recommend x9's in the front and x10's in the rear. why?

others say that 0-20 offset is good but these are 25 offset, how much is that going to effect the system?

I plan on running the PBM pro coil overs, which i found out lower the car by 3" on average, with that will 17's still fit without modification?

any information will be greatly appreciated.

wheel fitment thread

five lug swap guide

the ultimate z32 brake swap guide

This will probably be the only time you'll get spoon fed such common question on zilvia.

Enjoy.

15s work for z32
S chassis can easily fit 20s as well

Offset has nothing to do with brake clearance

Anytime u lower your car u will need to mod some things

Staggered setup chances how a car feels
Most prefer it once they've done it

My s14 se fit over r33 calipers so those will work. And they are what, 16x7 +43 or something?

Staggered widths are mostly for clearance ie a 9j won't rub in the front with minor work whereas a 10 would
