theDriven.org will be having another All Nissan Meet / BBQ in the month of October. Details are sketchy right now, but here is what the plan is....
Multiple grills (so I don't have to grill all the freakin' food) Volleyball (or some kind of outdoor sports) Car Show (could have a competition if we want) Raffle with multiple prizes (minimal cost to enter raffle) etc. Date: October 12th Time: 12PM till we get kicked out of the preserve Location: Busse Woods South This event is over a month away so if you have to request days off from work, do it now!! We have always had good turn outs from the Sentra and Maxima crews and I would like to see the 240s get in on this. I'll have more info once we get closer, but if you have questions please feel free to email me or post on here. Thanks! |

That's true we had discussed holding these events on Sunday. However, for the last couple of events (June, July and August) we have had great turn-outs.
June: 20-30 cars Sunday July: 50-60 cars Saturday August: 20-30 cars Saturday Thus far there has been no difference in attendance from Saturday to Sunday. However most people prefer a Saturday, so that they can have Sunday off to relax. Plus with football season coming up, I won't be much into looking at cars while the Bears are on. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='  '> |

There is this guy around here with a nice white TT Z32 with exhaust and some other shit, but don't know him only where he lives, maybe I'll leave a not on the car or something. We have always been lacking Zs.

I have hit the Z boards, so hopefully more will come! Also I think we are going to do a $5 bucks for food thing, TheDriven will supply all food! Chicken is on the list! Alond with all your typical BBQ and Picnic type of foods!

O ya btw do you guys car if this one guy come with a couple of his friends and his cars (FD, FC, Supra, GSX, and maybe another FC). Just wanted to make sure and not go overboard with non-nissans. I'll prolly bring a white TT Z32 with too, or I'll have a restraining order on me <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>
So I take it I shouldn't bring any chicken, and what do you guys plan on raffling, and do you want anyone to bring anything for raffle.

The raffle will include some gift certificates to local restaurants. Perhaps a scale Skyline model if I can swing it. Not sure what else yet, but I'm working on it.

We just want to check out cool cars and hang out with cool people! I see that you are doing your own 240 meet! Why don't you just combine your efforts with ours, that way we can all have a bigger more fun meet!

Car Show is a go!! The prize for being voted the best 240 will be to have 6-10 high quality photos taken of your car and they will be featured on thedriven.org along with the other class winners. I don't have a car, he knows that. There only will be like 2 Zs cuz all the ones i tried to get hide pretty good. I know where they live but can never get flyers on thier cars

Alright....for all of you that are confused by my maps and such, here are the directions!!!
From the little star on my maps..... Head west on Higgins. Go under pedestrian overpass Turn left into preserve entrance Go all the way to the back. Follow the instructions of one of the volunteers and park your car. Get out and have a good time! The star on the other maps is where the red line and blue line meet on this map. its very easy to get to, all you have to do is enter Busse Woods. If you enter on the side with a bridge above it then you are heading west, turn left on the first entrance, and go all the way down.
If you enter on the side that has no bridge over it, then go to the end (where you see the next north - south road and turn right while still in the preserve. Only problem was the last meet when they didn't reserve the place and it took me liek 10 minutes to find the place, but look for the man with the grill, and you'll see a bunch of maximas, cuz they come bright and early. This meet is turning out to be one of the best, you guys should plan for a big meet next year where you go AutoX or drag strip or road america or sumin. lol ya i pretty much stay low key, only person i talked to was James the woner of the 350Z (Fredrick I believe), and liek 2 more people that i don't remember thier names.
You prolly saw me though, I think I saw you, or at least I think it was you, I was the shortest black guy there, that was there for almost the entire time.
