so do you guys think the domination of Brawn GP with so-so drivers *who usually are in the back of the field from prior seasons* is makign F1 borring? Everyone speculates their driver success is solely on the cars they are driving. But then, Redbull is a serious freaking contender now, while Toro Rosso seems to be the lil brother team which drivers start off there and than get promoted to RB.
Farewell to Sébastien Bourdais, hes getting the boot on the team.. he has had no luck.

formula 1 is still boring because the cars still can't overtake. so much for sweeping changes that were supposed to save money and create better racing. all it did was force the teams to spend MORE money to regain the lost performance and now the cars look stupid and still can't pass. they need to bring back the v10's with no driver aids, make the front and rear wing 2 elements only and have a standard diffuser design.
also, bad luck for sebastien bourdais.... hopefully renault dump piquet and get themselves a french driver. bourdais couldn't be any worst, anyways, so why not? |

Lewis ruined my race in less than seven seconds of the start.
Props to Webber. He did a marvelous job on the ring. Won podium with some breathing room after the pass through penalty. Brawn is paying too much attention to the 2010 car while RedBull is making some strong progress. Barracello... Nothing seems to ever go right with his car. Like he said, Button's car never has any issues, only his. Rosberg is gaining some ground nicely. All the while nobody seems to be noticing. Massa I think is the real driver. Doing so well with a car that is still off pace. Bourdais is out... no comment for that one right now. As for passing, the Brawn cars seem to work better in dirty air, as seen during this most recent race. The KERS system does provide overtaking, but it's only on the straightaway which provides for a lackluster pass 8/10. I want to see passing the way it should be, during cornering.

My goodness.
Failure from the back of Barrichello R.'s car. and it lost a spring. Spring hit Massa. Another precise sequence of events that led to it. He seems ok. I hope for the best in his recovery.

you know someone at renault is gonna get fired for alonso's wheel coming off.. i jus read that the team got suspended for the next race.
I think Brawn's engineering advantage has worn off since im sure the other teams where able to come up with their improvements with car development.

Yeah, Alonso just has no luck when he seems to need it.
Problem with Brawn is, they didn't seem to keep advancing the car. So while they were leading the front sitting on their high horse, the other teams were out using the race track like a test session and they kept pouring money into development. Everything I thought would happen during this race did. I wish this was the lotto.

poor guy qualified last.. he was a second off 19ths spot. He also got 4 pit speeding penalties during the practice sessions the day before. Pretty bad.
But looks like they are running Hami on light fuel.

badoer is horrible, but i could expect hes probably not pushing due to his age, maybe he has a family and he doesnt wanna get hurt etc, or he just doesnt have the skill, or ferrari doesnt want him to kill any engines/trannys/chassis due to the limited restriction. But i figure they probably used him instead of pulling someone else in because of company secrets etc. He got passed in the pits!!! He moved over to let someone pass him while exiting the pit. and got penalized for crossing the white line while getting passed lol.
Hami had a great chance of winning, but for his 2nd pit, the crew didnt have the tires ready so they lost like 2 seconds. I would love to see Rubens take the title this season away from Button, he seems like a stand up great guy, deserves a title for all these years , esp during the ferrari/schumacher era when he was always team ordered to be 2nd to schumi. I think solid rumor is Alonso will go to ferrari next season, will be crazy, tho kimi and massa are contracted til end of 10 supposibly. Rumor that heiki might leave mclaren, button is solid at brawn. Who will fill alonso's spot at renualt?? speculation is kimi may go renault, but also what if he surprises everyone and heads back to mclaren, i read he left mclaren cuz he fell out with ron dennis, and ron aint head of mclaren f1 anymore so who knows.
