I just don't need to tempt myself with that kinda stuff right now.
I just checked and I haven't posted on there since last Nov. Which was right around the time I sold my car to that douche bag.

The waiver is to protect the track's insurance... not the vehicle owners.

Well done, just wish the wheels were a solid color. Any color, pink, blue, orange, black, whatever. The polished lip just doesn't do it for me, with that style wheel. You need a monster lip to pull off the polished lip in my eyes, otherwise the wheel needs to be a solid color.

You know that isn't mine right? I just wanna make sure, mine would look a little more in relation with my s13s style. Sad thing is I haven't seen one BK with really impressive wheels and hellaflushness. I can't wait to get mine.

went to the hyundai dealership today to checkout a genesis. they didn't have the 4cyl-turbo, but all they had in stock was a v-6. didn't get to drive it, but it's pretty nice to sit in. this model we checked out had a torque meter on the dash..kinda spiffy :9 if i had the money i'd buy one...i like it

I took one of these for a few hot laps around the cart track at Autobahn Country Club during the Genesis Coupe Adrenaline Tour, and it was alright. It isn't nimble as a 240 though, but for being stock it was not a bad car.

I know they said it was the fuel line, but also I think the electronics are too close to the turbo with no heat shield.

they are OEM paint matched but its looks like they made them black when they did the roof Quote:

I got a 3.8 base...finally Testing prototype MAX coilovers right now, also evaluating multilink parts and knuckles, chassis parts and go fast parts. Notes: Love the car, the power, the style, and the extras included with the base like leather and bluetooth and ipod control I hate the chrome headlights/tails - need to paintmatch / smoke It seems pretty drifty for not having the torsion diff like the track model ~ confusing, sometimes two black lines , sometimes not ~ need a 2 way! Why the hell does this motor have two long water lines going over the headers towards the rear of the motor? Why arent they connected to the front near the rad?

I am really exicted to see that you guys are involved and that hopefully I can expect to see the same awesome parts that you guys make for s-chassis on the BK.

So I put the 18x10+18 with 225-40's from my S15 on the genesis and I thought they were going to stick out (nicely) because the 18's that come with the car have what appears to be really thin backpads and no lip but instead they were just dwarfed by the car. I will try 19's next but I may need 20's for hellaflushness. Its also hard to get really low with the coilovers in their current configuration. I hate the separated coil and damper in the back. I will test a coil over damper in the rear next and continue to make refinements to the swaybar mount, lower bracket and brake bracket in the front.
*edit finshed the coil over damper style in the rear, it was a tight squeeze on the chassis side but with some customization to the coilover mounts we got it to work without any alterations of the car. works much better and still had more room for a wider wheel Right now my genesis has a 1 finger gap with reasonable camber adjusted at the OEM lower arm eccentric bolt. OEM toe rod has plenty of adjustment left, however if we go any lower we will need more camber adjustment in the lower arm which we are free to make in a simple fashion now that the OEM style spring is no longer resting on it. I have many pictures to post after I get a chance to upload. Car is looking much better!

Well My S15 just turned 10 years old and most of my customers cars are 20 years old so I began to think what platforms will be available for drifting in the future?
I think the 350Z is next in line but this Genesis may be a strong bang for the buck contender as well. My personal experiene with this KDM car is that overall the car is great, I am really happy with the looks, the power, the features, and the price. We have been working on the coilover testing and thinking about other parts for the New Genesis Coupe to insure we have the bases covered on the future drift machines. Bone stock: Testing parts arrived: Front Multilink Stock vs. max prototype Whats with the water pipes going over the headers on both sides? Rear multilink Front coilover fitted Rear coil and damper test Coil over damper test We made it clear! After coilovers were installed and aligned
